Fees are reviewed regularly and notice given before any changes are made.
Twice-weekly attendance is very strongly recommended. Poor short-term memory is often a symptom of dyslexia and a too-long gap between sessions can lead to some of the learning being lost, which will obviously hamper progress. Students can be disheartened and discouraged when progress is slow. Once per week is good, but twice per week is more than twice as good, and results in a shorter and cheaper course in the long run.
Fees are payable monthly, in advance for the next whole month. For example, in the last week of September, you will receive October’s invoice. This must be paid on or before your child’s first session of the month. Payments are made via bank transfer directly to Kelsall Connective Learning; these details will be made available to you upon starting.
Sessions can commence at any time of the year once a space becomes available. Monthly invoices will be automatically issued until such a time that you feel your child is ready to leave. There is no stop/starting of sessions; this is to ensure that there are no gaps in the students learning and to see their progress.
If for any reason a student is unable to attend their session, we appreciate a minimum of 24 hours notice. If you know in advance that you/your child is unable to attend a session please let us know with as much notice as possible and we will do our best to try to offer an alternative within the same week, if a slot is available.
There are no refunds for cancelled or missed sessions.
Holiday Closure Dates
The Centre is open throughout the year, including during school holidays, with the exception of 2 weeks at Christmas and any Bank Holidays. No charge is made for dates when the Centre is closed.
